Low-voltage data cabling

Ethernet and PoE installation in Little Rock

Hardwired Cat6 connections for network drops, access points, cameras, doorbells, and other compatible PoE devices.

What this service covers

Plan the route, finish the ends, and test the connection

A useful cable run begins with understanding the source equipment, destination, structure, pathway, and device requirements.

  • Cat6 cable runs for homes and small offices
  • Finished keystone wall plates and network drops
  • Termination, labeling, and connection testing
  • PoE access points, cameras, and compatible doorbells
  • Patch-panel and network-rack organization for small systems
  • Coordination with compatible customer-supplied equipment

Low-voltage scope

Data cabling is not line-voltage electrical work

Service is limited to data and communications cabling and compatible device setup. Line-voltage wiring, new electrical circuits, and work requiring a permit or specialized trade license are referred to the appropriate professional.

Choose the pathway

Attic, crawlspace, interior-wall, and exterior routes have different access, concealment, and repair considerations.

Match the PoE budget

The switch, injector, cable distance, and connected device must support the same PoE standard and power requirement.

Test and label

Finished connections are identified and checked so future equipment changes are easier to manage.
